HealthSouth Corporation filed its long-awaited annual financial report for 2004 with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The Birmingham-based health care provider delayed filing the report due to restatements for the period.
For 2004, HealthSouth said it reported a loss of 44 cents a share.
HealthSouth reported 2004 revenue of three-point-75 (b) billion dollars, compared with three-point-91 (b) billion dollars in the prior year.
HealthSouth expects declines in 2005 operating revenue in its in-patient, surgery centers, outpatient and diagnostic divisions' operating revenue. The company also expects corporate and other segment operating expenses to rise due to increased staffing needed to execute its reconstruction and strategic efforts.
