Sex Offender Arrested
Dothan Police have arrested 39-year-old Charles Gibson for failure to register as a sex offender.

Dothan Police have arrested 39-year-old Charles Gibson for failure to register as a sex offender and violation of Alabama’s Community Notification Act.
Gibson was originally arrested by Dothan Police Saturday for possession of a controlled substance and third degree domestic violence.
As a result of that arrest, officers did a background check and found that Gibson was previously convicted of a sex offense in Jackson County, Florida.
Gibson was last registered as a sex offender in Mississippi and is believed to have come to Dothan in the wake of Hurricane Katrina.
