The Wiregrass Humane Society said they have had great success with its new pet finder system on the Internet, which is getting more than 100 hits daily.
The Humane Society can house up to 100 pets at any given time. But now they're filled to capacity and have had to turn animals away. That's why employees said they are excited about petfinder.com.
Thirty-five animals are currently listed with their pictures on the Web site for adoption.
