Regions Bank Robbery

Police are looking for two masked men who robbed a Dothan Bank Thursday morning.

Police were on the scene in just a minute-and-a-half. But the robbery took only a minute.

The Regions Bank on the corner of the Ross Clark Circle and Headland Avenue was held up about 9:30 a.m. Witnesses said one suspect went inside the bank with a gun while the other man pulled a car around to the drive-through window.

The suspects got away with an undisclosed amount of cash. Police said both men wore ski masks, but witnesses saw at least one suspect's face and investigators were able to come up with a composite picture.

The suspects "get-away" vehicle was found just a couple of miles away near Wiregrass Commons Mall. The car had a stolen Georgia license plate and investigators said the car was probably stolen as well. At last report, they were still checking. The FBI is also investigating the robbery.

Crimestoppers is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information in the case. You can call Crimestoppers at 793-7000.
