Police said a Dothan man responsible for his elderly mother being arrested is now in jail himself.
Michael Harper surrendered to his probation officer Tuesday night. A warrant had been issued charging him with possession of marijuana.
Harper's 70-year-old mother was arrested Monday after officers allegedly found a pound and a half of marijuana hidden in the family's stove.
Police said the elderly woman knew drug activity was going on at the house and that her son had been arrested on drug charges before.
