Two elected officials in Level Plains will have to wait another month before going to court.
The town's magistrate says the prosecutor and municipal judge have removed themselves from the case of Mayor Tim Jackson and Councilman Joe Bruer.
Both Bruer and Mayor Jackson are charged with obstruction of a governmental operation and resisting arrest.
Bruer faces an additional charge of disorderly conduct.
City officials say a special prosecutor and judge will now have to be appointed to the case.
The next scheduled court date is December 20th.
The case will either be heard at Level Plains Town Hall or it may be moved to the Dale County Courthouse in Ozark.
