Dothan City Manager Mike West has closed the case on the investigation into the city's personnel board allegations.
He says during his investigation, he intensely interviewed 33 people in connection with the issues, and found no evidence of wrong-doing.
West says personnel in the police department are ready to move on, as there are no solid facts or figures that support any of the accusations.
West says, "There were a lot of allegations and comments that were made but if you look at the testimony, a lot of it was based on one individual and other individuals who had heard things."
Aside from Mike West's investigation, there is an ongoing investigation over audit discrepancies and improper disposal of weapons in the police department.
West says when that concludes, the department will revise procedures to make sure better records are kept.
