Dothan High School students will be seeing some changes when they return in the fall.
Workers are preparing to break ground at the school to upgrade the math and science department.
The renovation project will make the use of portable classrooms necessary.
10 trailers will be brought in to accommodate students during the year-long project.
Administrators say parents having nothing to worry about concerning the safety of those units.
“The new portables will be meet Alabama codes and will be anchored to the ground and have air conditioner and burglary alarms,” said Mike Manuel with Dothan City Schools.
The remodeling project is expected to be finished in August of 2009.
