2-Superintendent Candidates Named for DCS

(Dothan, AL)- In other board action, members zeroed in on their top candidates for school Superintendent.

Last week board members conducted interviews with the 5-candidates for the Superintendent position.

Tuesday night, board members voted for their two favorites.

Tim Wilder, who is currently Superintendent of Gulf County Schools in Port St. Joe, Florida and Jerry Boyd, Assistant Director of Schools of the Putnam County, Tennessee School System.

"They will be interviewing May 23rd and May 26th one at a time all day long with Dothan City Schools. All the board members, the community, the civic organizations they'll go to," said DCS Chairman Harry Wayne Parrish.

The board will make its final decision on May 31st.
