PENSACOLA, Fla. (AP) - A former Montgomery day care operator who was exonerated in a child molestation case in November 2006 now faces similar charges in the Florida Panhandle.
According to the Escambia County, Fla., Sheriff's Office, 26-year-old C.J. Williams was recently charged with sex offenses with a 12-and-15-year-old, aggravated stalking, forgery, grand theft and trespassing on school grounds.
Authorities contend Williams intentionally withheld information about his prior arrest on a background check. Authorities said he had filed the form to work with children at a community center in Pensacola.
Williams was being held without bond and awaits a court hearing Thursday.
