Education Forum

Voters in Houston County and the City of Dothan will go to the polls next Tuesday, Feb. 4.

They'll be asked to vote for or against a five-mil property tax increase and for or against a half-cent sales tax increase.

About 200 people turned out for WTVY News 4's live broadcast of the public forum.

Superintendents Dr. Leon Hobbs and Kenneth Lord, along with County Commission Chairman Mark Culver, answered a variety of questions from the audience.

Sample ballots were also distributed and participants were asked to indicate how they plan to vote next week.
