Many folks had a good time at BamaJam but some concert guests were not pleased with how they had to purchase food and beverage items.
Vendors could not accept cash for goods, only tickets.
Guests could purchase them at a price of $10 for 16 tickets and they were not sold individually. For example, bottled water cost 5 tickets which came to about $3.15.
Many thought it was a nuisance.
"It was confusing you know, i just thought the prices were high for something like this, because you know they made a lot of money anyway... but overall it was a good time,” said Gladys McDonald
After the first day of the festival, organizers increased the number of ticket sale tents throughout the venue so guests had easier access to them.
