Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist says he's not as concerned about what's going on in secret CIA prisons as he is that the existence of those prisons was leaked to the press.
Frist told reporters leaks are a bigger concern because they jeopardize safety and security. And he says he is "not concerned about what goes on" behind the prison walls, though he says illegal activity should not take place.
He and House Speaker Dennis Hastert have written the House and Senate intelligence committees asking for an investigation into the leak of possibly classified information about secret prisons to The Washington Post.
Frist says that as Senate majority leader he has access to classified information about prison activity, and he's going to make sure everything that's done is consistent with the country's Constitution and laws.
