Vince Lombardi Trophy

The Vince Lombardi Super Bowl Trophy was originally called the World Championship Game Trophy when the game was still known as the AFL-NFL World Championship. It was renamed in 1971 in honor of Vince Lombardi, former Green Bay Packers coach and general manager.

It is considered to be the National Football League’s most prestigious award.

Handcrafted by Tiffany & Co. and valued at $12,500, the trophy depicts a football in kicking position. Standing at 22 inches high and weighing seven pounds, it is made entirely of sterling silver and takes 72 man-hours to complete.
