Under the proposal, Wallace Community College Aviation Campus in Ozark would be combined with Enterprise State Junior College.
State College System Chancellor Dr. Roy Johnson held public hearings last month on the proposed merger.
Dr. Johnson assured employees that their jobs were not threatened and that the merger of the two schools would save about $800,000 but cutting duplication of services.
There's also a proposal to merge Lurleen B. Wallace College in Andalusia with MacArthur State Technical College in Opp.
The board could make the final decision on Thursday.
