Another group of Wiregrass soldiers is getting ready to do their part in support of Operation Enduring Freedom, and they expect to deploy Tuesday.

More than two dozen members of the 787th Corp Support Battalion assembled Monday at Fort Rucker.

The Dothan-based Army Reserve Unit's destination is being withheld for security reasons. The 787th was activated last month and provides supplies and logistical support for military units in the field.

The group's commander said possibly half of the 787th personnel are being deployed at this time. Members of the 787th come from as far away as Birmingham and Tallahassee.

A farewell ceremony for the unit was held earlier this month in Dothan.
