A suspect in a 13-year old capital murder case goes back to court in Dothan today.
33-year-old Christopher Floyd was indicted by a Houston County grand jury last December.
He’s accused of killing Archie Crawford during a robbery at Waller’s Grocery between Ashford and Cottonwood in February of 1992.
Defense attorneys claim there's been too much publicity about the case for Floyd to get a fair trial in Dothan.
They’re also asking Judge Larry Anderson to keep Floyd’s taped statement to investigators out of evidence.
A hearing is set for this afternoon.
Floyd is already serving life behind bars for a series of property crimes.
