The Dothan Police Department is hosting a crisis negotiation seminar for law enforcement agencies across the Wiregrass.
Thirty officers are attending the classes all week which train them on responding to incidents and addressing certain situations.
The training includes learning through lectures and role-playing.
The seminar is free for all officers who attend with no cost to their agencies.
Special Agent Charles Bravata with the FBI says, "It helps with liaisons with Dothan Police Dept. and other agencies throughout the state when other field offices provide training."
The seminar has instructors from all fields of law enforcement from across the state.
The classes end Thursday.
