National Day of Prayer
Governor Bob Riley, U-S Secretary of Energy Samuel Bodman and religious leaders from several faiths will participate in a Montgomery service Friday that is part of the National Day of Prayer and Remembrance.
President Bush has declared Friday as a National Day of Prayer and Remembrance for victims of Hurricane Katrina. Once Bush made the declaration, the governor's staff and others began planning a service in the capital city.
The Montgomery service will be held at noon at Frazer United Methodist Church.
