Governor's Town Hall Meetings

Gov. Jeb Bush's goal is to bring government closer to people, and on Thursday the governor came to Bonifay. Residents in and around Holmes County got a chance to share their concerns.

A group of Bay County seventh graders came to meet the governor as part of a class project. They wanted to know whether he used his office to get his older brother elected president in Florida's controversial 2000 Election.

In a surprise move this week, Lt. Governor Frank Brogan announced that he's applied for the presidency at Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton. If selected later this month, Brogan will resign from government.

Previously, Bush has held Town Hall Meetings in Panama City and Port St. Joe.
