Kinsey School/Katrina

Kinston school students packaged several hundred hygiene kits for hurricane Katrina victims.

The kits include everything from antibacterial hand wash to toothpaste.

There is also personal messages from many of the 500 students who attend the school.

Student government President, Joshua Driver, feels small communities respond well to those in need.

Several members of the coffee county chapter of the American Red Cross presented certificates of appreciation to the Kinston students for their hard work.
