A Dothan man was arrested Tuesday night after returning to the scene of a stabbing. He is now charged with two counts of attempted murder.
In response to an arson call on Monroe Street Tuesday night, police were told that Christopher Watford was seen fleeing the residence. This was the same place where he allegedly stabbed his estranged wife and another man.
Both victims are in stable condition at a Dothan hospital. Police found Watford in a wooded area off of Bayshore Avenue.
Watford was in a local work release program for writing bad checks at the time of the attacks. He now faces an additional charge of escape and is currently being held in the Houston County Jail without bond.
