Dothan city commissioners moved to waive the utilities deposits for hurricane evacuees who are moving into more permanent housing.
They made the decision at the commission meeting in an attempt to make re-location easier for the displaced victims.
Reports have indicated that many of those who took shelter in the wiregrass are planning to permanently reside here.
Their deposits will be waived for the next 90-days.
