Gas prices in Alabama are starting to decline a bit after hitting an all-time high of $2.95 Sunday.
Thursday’s AAA Alabama's Daily Fuel Gauge Report shows prices for all grades of gasoline, except diesel, dropped about a penny from Wednesday.
Regular now averages $2.93; midgrade fuels are $3.14; and premium is $3.22 a gallon, Diesel, on average, $2.86.
According to AAA's survey of metro prices, regular is cheapest in Mobile at $2.74. But regular unleaded is more costly in Huntsville and Birmingham at $3 a gallon.
