Former HealthSouth CEO Richard Scrushy has pleaded not guilty to two counts of bribery and one of mail fraud.
Scrushy made his first appearance in federal court in Montgomery today after being indicted Wednesday in a federal government corruption investigation. Former Governor Don Siegelman and two others were also indicted by the federal grand jury.
Leaving the courthouse after Friday’s brief hearing, Scrushy said -quote- "none of it is true."
The indictments against Scrushy comes just four months after he was acquitted in a two point seven billion fraud at HealthSouth.
