The City of Dothan and Houston County is hosting a "relief drive" for hurricane victims in Pascagoula, Mississippi.
Houston County Commissioner Mark Culver got word late last week that the City of Pascagoula was dramatically impacted by Katrina.
With all the destruction in other areas, it seemed as though the City of Pascagoula had been lost among the shuffle and receiving hardly any aid.
The City of Dothan and Houston County are pitching in trying to provide two truckloads of supplies within the next few days.
Officials say none of this would be possible without the generosity of people in the Wiregrass.
They’re hoping to get the shipments out sometime soon.
