Federal Drug Enforcement agents along with Geneva County Drug Task Force investigators say they found two-pounds of "ice," the purest and most powerful form of the drug, in Jamie Hutto's mobile home in the Fadette community:
Authorities say Hutto was receiving large shipments of the drug from Mexico; he then allegedly distributed it to smaller dealers working the Tri-States area.
The arrest of the 34-year-old Geneva County man was made after a two-year undercover investigation.
Hutto has been transferred from the Geneva County jail to U.S. custody in Montgomery.
He faces federal drug trafficking charges.
If convicted, he could be sentenced to life in prison.
