Federal officials in Northwest Florida are trying to determine the cause of the deadly plane crash over the weekend.
A pilot and his passenger were killed after the single-engine aircraft went down near a private airstrip in Walton County.
Members of a NTSB investigation team spent most of Monday morning inspecting the wreckage of the two-seat aircraft, looking for clues as to what caused Saturday’s deadly crash.
They’re checking the engine, the fuel tanks, anything that could have led to the tragedy.
Fred Bogle was taking the single-engine aircraft up to show Ruben Rios property he was interested in buying.
Bogel’s wife, a pilot herself, witnessed the accident.
