A man wanted in Michigan on attempted murder charges has been arrested in Crestview, Florida.
Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Deputies and officers from the U.S. Marshal’s Service arrested 34-year-old Carlos Medina in his home at a Crestview mobile home park.
He was originally taken into custody on cocaine and marijuana charges and was using the name Carlos Gonzales.
Lawmen later learned Gonzales was actually Carlos Medina and was wanted by Michigan State Police for attempted murder and armed criminal sexual conduct.
They seized eight pounds of marijuana, a small amount of cocaine and a hand gun in making the arrest.
