Coffee County EMA

Ambulance

The EMA directors are now responsible for putting together a plan of action for severe emergencies in their counties.

State EMA planner Jeff Byard met with Coffee County EMA Director John Tallas on Thursday and plans to visit all of the states 67 counties.

Each EMA director has his or her own list of natural and manmade concerns. Some of those concerns include floods and the threat of terrorism.

Tallas is looking for the public's ideas and concerns about safety issues.

You can state your concerns at the New Brockton office. That number is 894-5415.
