What started as an ordinary traffic stop in Dothan Thursday morning ended with four people being rushed to the hospital and one arrest.
It all began when officers attempted a routine traffic stop of a white pick-up truck.
The driver of the truck would not stop and sped away.
He eventually lost control of the truck, crashing into a gold Honda Accord at the intersection of Houston and Montana Streets.
The driver was taken into custody shortly after trying to flee on foot.
The driver has been identified as Andre Maurice Murphy and was charged with DUI and stole the truck he was driving.
However, the passenger of the truck managed to get away.
Two children and two adults in the Honda Accord suffered moderate injuries and have been released from the hospital.
