Counterfeit bills are being passed in Northwest Florida and investigators want to know who's responsible.
At first glance the $10, $20 and $50 bills appear to be legal, but the money is far from the real thing.
Someone has been passing the fake bills in Chipley stores and even banks.
Chipley Police investigators say the money looks authentic even fooling store clerks using the counterfeit pen test.
Police say they have discovered more than $3,000 worth of counterfeit bills in the past month and a half.
