A Georgia man accused of sexual assault on a child will soon be heading back to Carrolton, Georgia to face the charges.
Thirty-two-year-old Eric Belcher is being held without bond in the Bay County Jail in Panama City.
He was arrested after a beach motel owner recognized him as a possible sexual suspect.
It turns out Belcher is wanted in Georgia on seven different felony warrants involving incest and sexual activity with a child under the age of ten.
What concerned local authority the most is that Belcher was staying in a motel full of Hurricane Katrina evacuees.
He has waived extradition and will be sent back to Georgia to face the charges.
