An agreement has been reached that may keep 325 instructor pilots at Fort Rucker. The Professional Helicopter Pilots Association of Daleville- has agreed to a contract agreement with Lear-Siegler Services (LSI).

LSI has been contracting with instructor pilots at Fort Rucker for years, but the pilots said their contract had to change.

The pilots are responsible for primary instrument and combat skills training. But, they said they weren't being paid fairly for their job.

Compared with other instructors, the pilots said they were being paid 28 percent less, although they may have equal training and flying ability.
