Bay County Burned Child Fund

A Northwest Florida girl remains in Intensive Care at the University of Alabama in Birmingham Hospital's Burn Unit.

It's been a month since little Jenny Cowan was burned over 80 percent of her body. It happened during a fireplace accident inside the family's Lynn Haven home.

Tuesday, Jenny went through her eighth skin graft surgery. Six-year-old Jenny is often photographed with her identical twin sister, Sydney.

The community has come to the financial aid of the Cowan Family. Since a "Help Jenny" Web site was set up, Jenny's grandmother said the little girl has received donations and prayers from around the world.

For those who want to help the Cowan family with their mounting medical expenses, there's more information at www.helpjenny.org.
