Three Bodies Pulled From Irondale, Ala Pond

IRONDALE, Ala. (AP) - Irondale's mayor said the bodies of three people - two males and a female - were pulled from a pond early Tuesday.

Mayor Tommy Joe Alexander declined to release their names because next-of-kin hasn't been notified. But he said one male was 28 and the other was 20 years old.

He did not immediately know the female's age.

Alexander said officers believe the crashed occurred sometime last night. The vehicle left the roadway and landed upside down in the pond, located on Amber Hills Road.

The car was found just after 7 a.m.
