Many shoppers checking out the joint Toys 'R' Us-Amazon.com site are finding hundreds of toys shown on the site are either out of stock or discontinued.
That's not good news about a week before Christmas.
Spokeswomen for both Toys 'R' Us and Amazon said the shortages may be temporary, as more inventory comes in.
But Toys 'R' Us said it's not surprising to find many items out of stock at this point in the year. It said most online shoppers finish their buying early to leave time for shipping.
