Aruban authorities have brought in experts from the Netherlands and dispatched a prosecutor to consult with the FBI as they continue to investigate the disappearance of missing Alabama teen Natalee Holloway.

The four experts from the Netherlands traveled to the Dutch Caribbean island to assist with interrogations. Two members of the team investigating the Holloway case have also traveled to the FBI crime lab in Quantico, Virginia.

Aruba has agreed to show transcripts of interrogations to the FBI in a sign of increased cooperation.

Also today, the Mountain Brook teen's family announced that the reward for her safe return has been increased to $1 million. A family spokeswoman says the increase comes with the help of an anonymous benefactor.

Eighteen-year-old Holloway has been missing since May 30, when she vanished while on a five-day trip to the island with classmates.

Seventeen-year-old Joran van der Sloot, the son of a judge in training on the island, is being held in the case.
