A mid-morning house fire Monday destroyed a mobile home in Jackson County.
Fire-rescue received the call at 10:40 a.m. and when they arrived the home was totally engulfed in flames.
It took firefighters about 25 minutes to get the blaze under control.
They were unable to save any of the home or its contents and are calling it a total loss.
The cause is undetermined at this point.
Jackson County Fire-Rescue and the state fire marshal’s office are investigating.
