More Alabama Deployment

Another Alabama Army National Guard unit has been put on notice. They're about to be called to active duty.

About 145 members of the 900th Maintenance Company of Brundidge and Phenix City will participate in Operation Noble Eagle homeland security missions. Those assignments will be carried out in the United States. The unit could be activated for as long as a year.

Since September 2001, more than 3,200 Alabama Army and Air Force National Guard personnel have been called up and more than half are still on active duty today.
