Tropical Storm Franklin is moving in the northwestern part of the Bahamas, and it's expected to stay out at sea.
According to the Hurricane Center in Miami, a tropical storm warning remains in effect for the northwestern Bahamas.
Forecasters say that at 7 a-m, the storm slowed down and was crawling about 200 miles east of West Palm Beach, Florida, at about
five or six miles-an-hour. An hour before, the center of the storm was over the northern portion of Great Abaco Island, about 80 miles east of Freeport on Grand Bahamas Island, moving northwest at nine miles-an-hour.
Forecasters say they expect Franklin to keep moving parallel to Florida's east coast.
