A short-handed drug task force in North Florida makes a dent in the local narcotics trade.
The Jackson County Sheriff's Office and Marianna Police Department served arrest warrants on eight local men Thursday after an investigation by the Jackson County Drug Task Force.
The men were allegedly involved in sales of cocaine, crack cocaine and marijuana.
Police also found $2,000 worth of marijuana on one of the men during the roundup.
Authorities say they are still looking for five more suspects in relation to the investigation.
