A 20-year-old Troy State University student from Opp was found dead in his dorm room Sunday morning.
Campus police found Dennis Lee Bowden dead at his desk in front of his computer.
Reports show that Bowden was on the phone with friends at the time of his death.
When the telephone connection was broken, his friends called the Troy Police Department who notified the Troy State Campus Police.
Foul play is not suspected, but the cause of death is under investigation.
TSU is closed for the holidays. Bowden stayed on campus to work a part-time job.
