Many people in New Orleans have had it up to here with Hurricane Katrina.
Brian Vernon and Dorothy Bell had it up to their roof.
The couple had to scramble onto the top of their home to escape the rising waters. Vernon tells The Associated Press they waited the longest three hours of his life, before a boat came by to get them. His fiancée says she thanks God, because she had spent the time on the roof praying.
Vernon says the home was completely submerged and they lost everything inside it.
Bell says Vernon should have listened to her earlier, when she was trying to get him to evacuate before the storm hit.
