Hobo Pantry Armed Robbery Latest in a Series

The Dothan police department responded to another armed robbery overnight.

This time, the hobo pantry gas station on Westgate parkway was robbed and luckily no one was injured.

The suspect entered the gas station around 2 a.m. early Thursday demanding cash from the clerk. He managed to get away from the crime scene with an undisclosed amount of money.

The suspect has been described as a black male, anywhere from 5'6" to 5'10". He weighs approximately 210 pounds and wears a mustache, with a partial beard. He was wearing a black shirt and black hat and was driving a dark car, possibly a Pontiac.

Lieutenant Roy Woodham, of the Dothan Police Department, said, “These are not all being done by the same person they are being done by different individuals and this complicates investigations when you've got multiple issues with regards to suspects as well as crimes."

This crime makes the 16th robbery in Dothan since June 14, and it is the second time a Hobo Pantry store has been robbed.
