Wiregrass authorities are trying to solve a high speed caper.
One or more persons stole a 32-foot, white travel trailer with a race car inside.
Eighteen-year-old Andy Pugh has been racing ever since he was seven-years-old.
Over this past weekend, the trailer was taken from behind Price's Plaza in Geneva.
Besides the number "08" black asphalt modified racer and trailer, Andy says there was thousands of dollars worth of tools and tires taken.
The young driver has been trying to make a name for himself on the local racing circuits. He’s not sure what to do at this point.
Pugh says, “I was shocked, I keep thinking I’ll come back and the trailer and car will be here. Obviously not, it's not going to happen. It’s a cruel thing to do but, that's the way it goes.”
The Pugh’s' estimate the loss at more than $60,000.
