A northwest Florida businessman says a recent break-in has nearly ruined him financially.
Holmes County sheriff's department officials are asking for the public's help in finding those responsible for the theft of nearly $6,000 worth of truck tires from the Tri-county Tire Company in Bonifay. Owner Lee Gilley says someone broke the lock to a side door of the business earlier this month. The suspects are believed to have used a dual-wheeled truck in the burglary and investigators believe they may be selling the tires across the tri-state region.
Gilley says his dad opened the business in 1977 and he plans to keep his three employees and somehow make-up the loss.
