Dothan Police Officer Cleared of Charges

A Dothan police officer has been cleared of wrong-doing in a domestic violence case.

Officer Robert Cole was placed on administrative leave in March after an altercation with his wife. However, he was soon back at work, following an investigation. On June 16th, he was found “not guilty” of a misdemeanor charge of domestic violence. Cole has been employed with the Dothan Police Department for more than two years.
