A new health care facility is on the way in Northwest Florida. A recent groundbreaking ceremony in Bonifay signals the start of the construction.
The hospital will be located near the intersection of I-10 and Highway 79 in Bonifay. The new building will replace the current Doctor's Memorial Hospital, which has served the Holmes County area for 45 years.
The new hospital is expected to provide specialty services, and it will allow many patients to receive medical care closer to home.
