Holmes County authorities are questioning residents to find out whose body it is they found Tuesday.
The body looks to be that of a white male in his 20s. He was found lying face-down in Wyatt’s Creek wearing nothing but swim trunks.
Authorities are treating this as a homicide, but Holmes County doesn't have any reports of missing persons. However, they do believe they are closer to determining his identification.
They hope to have a positive identification by Thursday. The cause of death is still undetermined.
